Good melodic hard rock band who had Slaughters Dana Strum as producer and also managed to enlist the talents of Mark Slaughter himself, and Jeff Scott Soto as backing vocalists. They looked like a Glam band and vocally I guess they were. But the songs were keyboard infected melodic hard rockers that remind me of somewhat of Rob Rocks, Driver.Vocalist John Ward was English, and would front Shy for their "Welcome To The Madhouse" album.

Another treasure dug up by Retrospect Records and first time ever on cd for the enigmatic L.A. Sunset-Strip based 80s Hair Metal / Glam act LICKITY SPLIT. Headlining clubs like the Troubadour , the Whiskey , Gazzarri's and The Roxy alongside bands like Guns n Roses , Tuff and LA Guns , LICKITY SPLIT was a band that unfortunately slipped thru the cracks. Now they have been resurrected and this is an excellent slice of 80s Hard Rock. Lickity Split re-united for Rocklahoma 2009 and won over a legion of new fans. Speaking of it's indie status, the guys deserve an A+ for production, sound quality, track arrangement, and packaging/artwork. Hopefully, if the demand is there, more copies will be created in the near future. I like this guy, very good guitar player. I liked him when he played with GILLAN (FUTURE SHOCK IS A KILLER ALBUM), live with OZZY OSBOURNE after the death of RANDY RHOADS, and the proyect with DEE SNIDER, DESPERADOS. Wow, this is an absolute killer record, especially the live tracks are really rocking (1-14). In the line up are David M. Philips and Johnny Rod from King Kobra, Lizzy borden. This stuff reminds me of Dee Snider's Desperado or Chet Thompsons'Slamnation. You can download all the songs as mp3 from their website. A good one for fans of Tantrum, Headpins and Joanna Dean.

Very good British band (or were they...?) who released this nice ep of catchy melodic aor, with emphasis on the keys. Rumoured to have another ep. Considering this was released on a major label, not much is known about the band, but we hope that it will not stay like that.If you like the idea of a combination of FM, Bite The Bullet and No Sweat, with a couple of semi-acoustic moments, this band will more than satisfy.
