Atomic Angel appear to have been a band based in Decatur, Illinois. I wish I'd have lived there in 1993 as i would have had the pleasure of being able to see this band "live".Why? Polished hard rock, with elements of prog and a fantastic vocalist in Randi Ridout who was reminiscent of Ange Cobb from Scottish band Seeing Red.
There is also some smart and flashy guitarwork from Freddie Francis amidst the highly melodic vocal harmonies provided by all the band.Recommended!
