One of many bands that used the name of "Rampage", and the 2nd German.(1st was Roland Grapows,he of Helloween fame). This band, particularly on their first outing were driven by loads of keyboards and solos, so much so, that I really should class them as Pomp! But raw guitars, vocals and a straight on melodic hard rock sound, stays my hand."Wheels" was definitely more aor highlighted by the introduction of a few more laidback songs and the addition of female backing vocalist Tanja.But not too much.Lets face it with Konigs "dirty" vocal style there was no way he could keep himself a "crooner". Good, solid German melodic rock band...and for those interested, the band still have some copies for sale at the url below.
