In 1984 Påhlsson quit his job as a mailman to become a fulltime musician, songwriter and producer for teenage idol Niclas Wahlgren. They worked together until the summer of 1986, then he has done a lot of touring and recording with several artists and bands. In 2003 he started his own company called Micana Music.
