Autodrive - St 1991 (Pomp Rock) Canada
4:51Very good US band that played atmospheric MR/Aor, with hints of prog and pomp. Perhaps this is understandable since most of the band, at one stage or another have been involved with Marillion. I also believe this Long Island cd, is a re-issue of the album that originally came out in the 80's.For fans of Canuck bands such as Boulevard,Regatta, and a Refugee. John Wesley was also a one time member.

The Broken Homes - Wing and a Prayer 1990 (Power Rock/Glam) USA
1:23I hear 80's flavored party rock all over the place, from THE CULT style to BRYAN ADAMS, to ROXETTE. Typical 80's rock that was produced by Andy Johns.(delbert)
Yes you're right. This album is mix of the 80's. Sometimes i think i'm hearing Quireboys or Georgia Satellites, but in some songs they change to a more pop/rock feeling like a more rocker INXS. Anyway, there are very good party rock songs here and you also can find it cheap on ebay or in a record store. I bought it (with shipping included) for less then 2 usd.(ppfinder2)

Rain - House Of Dreams 2002 (Melodic Hard Rock) Norway/Germany
6:27This norwegian band usually gig around as a Bon Jovi coverband and that sounds just a little too obvious ?coz the songs on this album feels like a Kareoke version of Bon Jovi. They have Michael Borman from Jaded Heart on vocals and he does his best trying to sound like Jon Bon Jovi. Anyway,I?d prefer the real thing instead of listening to a watery version of the New Jersey rockers and another thing that strikes me is that the songs on "House of dreams" don?t even sound like leftovers from "Keep the faith".. ...well,I say what Sex Pistols sang in 77 -NO FUN! (melodic net)
